Retro after retro, 2020 — though quite depressing for obvious reason — has been quite eventful in terms of sneaker releases, with Jordan Brand and Nike the most aggressive in their current season roll-out. Though more collaborations and covetable colorways are surely on the way, most attention is diverted towards this week’s drop of the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red.” Closely matching that of the 1990 OG, the pair bears the signature colorway as well as the silver reflective tongues. The brighter shades hit the lining as well as the midsole accents and “Nike Air” branding, while neutral black and white tones outfit the midsole and smooth leather upper, respectively. Finished by icy blue soles, the revival is readied for its May 2nd drop at Nike.com and select retailers. To make sure you secure your own personal set, keep an eye out on the shops listed below.
