Nike ISPA‘s newly-launched OverReact silhouette already dons an alternate version perfect for the summer: the OverReact Sandal. Its subdued “Thunder Grey” iteration arrives on July 31st.
While experimental and statement-making in its own right, the OverReact Sandal forgoes the Flyknit construction of its original original model in favor of a stripped-down upper. Layers of mesh, suede, and other fabrics keep the foot secure without sacrificing breathability; heel loops have been added to this take on the OverReact for easy on-and-off functionality. Underfoot, React foam sole units forgo the “Thunder Grey” and rich navy hues that take over some of the pair’s overlays and all of its branding in favor of a tonal black arrangement. The outsole’s aggressive tread pattern ensures quality traction no matter the outdoor adventure.
