Over the last several years, adidas has delivered a solid mix of modern-day classics and adidas Originals for Valentine’s Day. Recently, a newly-surfaced Ultraboost 5.0 has suggested that the German sportswear institution will continue the trend for at least another year.
Akin to past releases, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a Primeknit upper clad in “Core Black.” Faint hits of white permeate throughout the shoes’ top-half, but they’re unquestionably overshadowed by the ruby-colored hearts that appear from the tip of the toe to the spine. “ultraboost”-branding on the lateral heel clip also opt for vibrant red flair, while logos on the top of the tongue and Torsion bars on the outsole strangely deviate in hits of pink and blue. Midsoles, however, revert to the pitch-dark arrangement that covers the majority of the Boost-cushioned sneaker.
